About

When Nazi Germany bombed Rotterdam in May 1940, the Netherlands surrendered and the country was occupied. From then on it was either cooperate, join or resist. The museum focusses on the dilemma and the harship of making a decision. Learn how the Dutch resistance made their efforts to help Jewish people and others that were oppressed by the occupiers. The collection showcases personal belongings of members of the resistance, documents, underground newspapers, escaped routes and much more to really tell and show the story of the second world war resistance.
