Fantastic

We were staying in Amsterdam centre and easily caught the ferry boat over which was fab. Found the impressive looking building easy. Walked in and it was bright, clean, modern and inviting. Lots of cool photo opportunities while you wait and a small but lovely cafe. The first 2 parts of the experience was very informative, then we went on for the flight. It was amazing. So interactive and life like. You experienced scents, feelings and was truly exciting. We absolutely loved it and want to come back already. The only downside was my daughter was wearing green so none of the photos worked with the green screen (if we were told this, she could have put her jumper on) . Highly recommend.

Amazing!!!

Wow, what an amazing experience! Perfect for the start of your trip to get to know about Netherlands' history and how the country came to be. It's a 5D tour + visual presentations, which were interesting and educating. The 5D part of the tour was truly captivating, you feel like you are indeed flying over Netherlands and feel the wind in your hair or sprinkle of water mist when "flying" over the water... It was exhilarating! We were positively surprised with the whole experience, highly recommend it! Make sure you book tickets in advance!

GREAT opportunity to see the Netherlands from the air!

This exhibit was FABULOUS, and the visuals were stupendous! This provides a snapshot into the Netherlands and though not for the faint of heart or children, a wonderful experience.

Must fly with us - unbelievable experience.

I had already been to the Adam Lookout and decided to also visit This is Holland - wow, how glad I did! At the desk I was warmly welcomed by Federica, who noticed I was limping slightly so offered me a choice to use the lift. Jimbo escorted me to the first floors where you are told about the ways the land was reclaimed from the sea, that it also could be reflooded if necessary, how the windmills and a giant pumping station kept the land safe, also the uses and industries the area supported. These were interesting but I did think 'well, I wonder why did I bother?' I simply did not know what was to come next - up one flight of stairs and into the auditorium where we sat and put on our seat belts, all of which were checked to meke certain they were correct. Then it happened, the lights went down, the screen all around you darkened and the floor went away - you were flying!! Over the sea towards the land, the Netherlands, you flew, the seats lifting and turning as you banked, climbed and dived almost into the places you were flying over. As you flew over the fields you could smell the flowers, over the sea you felt the spray, over the castles you wondered if you would not actually hit them - totally immersive, hugely enjoyable, unbelievable. It had to come to an end (I think I will if I visit Amsterdam again I will re-visit) so again I was asked to wait a moment and I would be taken down in the lift, really appreciated. In the shop I chatted to Margreet and had a coffee from Thilan - I was really impressed how friendly and willing to talk to me every staff member I met was. I really do recommend this for any age, I cannot think of anything that has so impressed me and I am mid seventies!!

A M A Z I N G experience. I think this is a must-do for any traveler visiting the Netherlands. The information is very valuable, and flying above The Netherlands is impressive. We loved it so much that we went twice.

Great, fun flying experience

Great experience it was like being in the front seat of the Helicopter flying over Holland. Immersive smells and weather effects. The 2 shows before were interesting and informative. Cheaper to book on line.

Utterly magical experience

This place was absolutely amazing. Learnt so much about Amsterdam on an interactive way. And then, the cherry on the cake was the 5D experience, with was so magical and breath taking I highly recommend this attraction

Great fun!

Very nice experience! The children and myself had a lot of fun. The reason why I gave only four stars is because I think that the flight time should have been longer and the "explaining" time shorter. Maybe some under the bridges flight scenes, drone shooted, could be added.

Flying over Holland

5D experience is always wonderful, no matter what your age. A fly over Holland was a great experience Only thing is, you have to read the english, as the commentry is in Dutch.

Wonderful experience... I suggest visiting in the beginning of your trip as it gives you a general understanding of the Netherlands and its' beautiful places. Staff were helpful and very nice! Special thanks to Gustavo!

Great activity for teenagers

Amazing experience. Teenagers loved every bit of it. The 3 stages were fab, the special effects, particularly ghe smells were brilliant

Was quite nervous as I suffer from motion sickness but glad I went. The kids and I loved it! They especially liked the water bits when they got wet! You feel like you are on a rollercoaster, very strange sensation lol! The building itself is lovely and a good few photo opportunities. Staff were so polite and helpful, excellent with the kids! Highly recommend

A couple of weeks ago, I went here with some friends of mine to try a different experience in Amsterdam. I had heard good things about this place so we decided to go. I want to say thank you to Luca and Mattia for making this experience truly enjoyable. They were really nice to us. They were very friendly. We were visitors to This is Holland during the week and were impressed by its fun and inspiring atmosphere. Special thanks to our Host Mattia who was able to introduce us to the flight simulator with a smile and contagious enthusiasm and friendliness. Recommended for everyone, Dutch or otherwise.

Loved visiting THIS IS HOLLAND on our recent holidays in Amsterdam. Our tour guide Luca was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun and enjoyable.

I’m not really good with heights but this ride was really quite fun and it , along with the history lesson, gave a great overview.

Absolutely loved this experience, couldn’t recommend more. It’s so clever how it is done and I wanted to do it again! Very well organised. Nice little cafe downstairs for drinks before or afterwards.

Thank you to this wonderful guy named Luca 😊( the person at ticket counter) for helping us with tickets. We were at Amsterdam for one day and could not have had a wonderful experience if he had not been a saviour at last moment. The experience was inexplicable and extremely well curated.

Immersive and interactive 5 D movie that is thrilling and enchanting

One hour immersion into history, geography and highlights of the Netherlands. A 15 minute “5-D” 360 degree film soars you through Holland with sounds and sights and smells of the Netherlands. You take a free ferry from central station to the museum. Fun for all!

Better than expected

Nice ride, it starts slow with a bunch of videos (in dutch) and they move you around 2 rooms until you get to the ride itself which was better than expected, we really enjoyed it.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but it was a great attraction! I highly recommend this stop when in Amsterdam. A must see for sure

An amazing experience to know what Holland is?

This is a real excitement mixed with technology and information about Netherland. If someone is planning a trip to Amsterdam and he is with kids he must add it to its bucket list.

The whole experience was amazing, starting with the amazing recepcionist Luca who helped me and my friends very very much when we needeed the most! He was the kindest recepcionist we have ever spoken to!!!! Thank you This is Holland and Luca!

Esperienza divertente, ben realizzato, quasi al livello del Voletarium dell'Europa Park, carini anche i due pre-show.

Fantastica. Una bella sorpresa.

L'attrazione inizia con due pre-show (in lingua olandese e sottotitoli in inglese) che parlano della storia dei Paesi Bassi e di alcuni dei luoghi che si vedono durante l'esperienza di “volo virtuale”. L'esperienza del volo in 5D è stata sorprendente WOW (profumi, vento, acqua…): meravigliosa (potrebbe anche essere più adrenalinica, ma capisco che non è un’attrazione di un parco a tema…). Il personale è molto simpatico e cordiale. Si trova proprio a fianco dell’Adam Lookout, raggiungibile con traghetto gratuito da prendere dietro Centraal Station. Consiglio vivamente di fare questa esperienza.

Belle expérience ! Incontournable à Amsterdam . Explications sur l'histoire de la Hollande avant le vol en 5D. Pendant le vol, vous survolez les différentes régions du pays avec un réalisme sur le plan des sensations: odeur de tulipes quand on survole les champs fleuris , sensations d'eclaboussures quand on survole les étendues d'eau.

Vuelo por Holanda

Muy interesante y divertido. Aprendes un poco sobre la historia del país en la primera estancia. La parte del vuelo es lo mejor. No apto para gente con vértigo.

In volo sull'Olanda!

L'esperienza che offre This Is Holland è semplicemente straordinaria. Si rimane a bocca aperta. Dopo un breve e simpatico documentario sulla storia dell'Olanda, sulle sue origini e sullo sviluppo del territorio, si passa in una sala con dei sedili da aeroplano. Dopo qualche secondo, allacciate le cinture, si vola sui luoghi più belli e suggestivi di questo splendido Paese. L'esperienza sensoriale del volo è incredibile. Da provare.

No es Disney pero esta bueno

Como puse en el titulo no es Disney pero esta bueno. Es una atraccion donde te suben a unas sillas y da la sensacion que estas dentro de un avion y ves bastantes regiones de Holanda en un apantalla envolvente. Vale la pena.

Geniale Erfahrung

Genial. Man fliegt über die Niederlande. Man fühlt und riecht sie. Die Geschichte kommt auch nicht zu kurz. Einfach ein Erlebnis.

Para cuando estas ya harto de callejear y de museos

Al principio parece muy simple:una atracción en 3D , mientras la ciudad de Amsterdam ofrece tantas cosas interesantes en vivo. Pero decidimos ir y la recomiendo totalmente. Entras ordenadamente y pasas por dos salas donde aprendes sobre la historia de este país de forma visual y didáctica. Y la tercera sala es impresionante porque realmente sientes estar sobrevolando el pais, sus campos y ciudades. De un modo diferente y muy divertido haces un tour por todo lo más significativo. Sobre el precio,no es alto, claro q al tener la Amsterdam pass estaba incluido. Para todo tipo de edades. Por poner una pega, las fotos turísticas q te hacen al entrar y que pagas caras si las deseas. Recomendable

Bella esperienza

Bella esperienza per adulti e ragazzi . Lo staff è molto gentile e preparato comodi gli armadietti per gli oggetti. Facile da raggiungere con il traghetto gratuito.

Een ervaring die je ècht moet ondergaan.

Een ervaring die je nooit zou willen missen. Nederland in vogelvlucht, super. De geurende hyacinten, geweldig. Het weer, een mooie ervaring. Peter Lussen weet het heel goed uit te leggen. Echt een Aanrader voor een ieder die geen engte, hoogte, diepte, ruimte vrees heeft. Uitleg is zeer helder en zeer vriendelijk en grappig personeel.

Megaaaaa geil, Spaß pur‼️

Mega geiles Erlebnis, man schwebt bzw. fliegt über Amsterdam und es fühlt sich richtig real an. Wahnsinn was die Technik heute so alles hergibt. Würde ich sofort nochmal machen.

Lohnt sich (am besten I Amsterdam Card kaufen)

Das 5D-Erlebnis war super gemacht und hat sich wirklich gelohnt! Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Art IMAX-Kino, in dem man in seinem Sitz angeschnallt wird. Es dauert ca. 10 min. Vorher bekommt man ein paar Infos über Holland, Das war okay, aber nicht so super spannend.

Musée à faire si on passe par Amsterdam

Ce 17 mars, dans le cadre d'une sortir scolaire j'ai eu chance de tester le musée interactif: This is Holland Pour commencer, le musée se veut assez dans le style des Pays-Bas. La réception, rien a dire ils sont sympas et ils parlent même le Français Ce musée se visite accompagné avec des activité. D'ailleurs ma préfère c'est la deuxième mais vous je vous lais la tester par vous même, elle n'en vaut le détoure Par contre l'accessibilité n'est pas son fort. Le musée sur plusieurs et il n'y a pas d'ascenseur Pour finir, c'est un super musée joli et amusent je ne peux que vous le recommander

Partenza per i tour in pullman Verso Keukenhof

Struttura meravigliosa a forma cilindrica al fianco del palazzone A'dam. Facile da raggiungere dalla Centraal Station, grazie ad un traghetto gratuito che in 5 minuti ti porta a 5 minuti a piedi da lì. L' esperienza verrà e propria non l'abbiamo fatta, più che altro per mancanza di tempo, ma abbiamo usufruito della struttura perché abbiamo prenotato un tour. Il tour era una crociera a vedere i mulini a vento e il trasferimento e l'ingresso al parco di Keukenhof. In attesa del tour si può aspettare all'interno della struttura (pochi posti a sedere a disposizione) dove c'è un simpatico bar. Il personale che ci lavora, gentile e pronto a darti consigli per aiutarti e soprattutto sempre sorridenti. Alla mia prossima visita ad Amsterdam sicuramente farò l'esperienza che non sono riuscito a fare quest anno.

Det er en forholdsvis ny attraktion i Holland, og man kan vel bedst beskrive det som et interaktivt oplevelsescenter, der beskriver Hollands opståen. Man må forvente lidt ventetid på stedet, da der ikke kan være så mange mennesker i de forskellige rum. Noget af tiden kan det også blive en anelse kedsommeligt, men det hele kulminerer til sidst, hvor man kommer ind i en 5d-biograf med en gigantisk skærm. Her oplever man Holland fra oven, og det er en helt igennem fantastisk oplevelse! Kan varmt anbefales.

Underhållande flygtur med lite utbildning om Holland och dess historia. Turen är uppdelad i 3 delar varav flygturen är den sista. Köpte biljetter på plats och det var inte så lång kö när vi var där. Även våra tonåringar tyckte det var bra. Rekommenderas

Fantastisk upplevelse för hela familjen

Fantastisk flygtur över Holland, och jag brukar inte alls imponeras av flerdimemsionella filmupplevelser. Mycket, mycket bättre i verkligheten än vad man anar när man ser reklamen på hemsidan. Både doft, vind och vatten ingår, och lagom mycket. Min man som tenderar att bli sjösjuk tyckte inte alls att detta påverkade, så de flesta borde fixa det. Man bokar tid och går i grupp. Vi hade inte förbokat, men det gick bra ändå. Man blir fotad framför en green screen, och kan sedan köpa bilderna eller ladda ned dem gratis på nätet. Mycket trevlig personal, och jag hade mailkontakt med dem innan besöket också och ställde frågor som jag fick snabba och utförliga svar på. Jag rekommenderar denna upplevelse för alla. Både unga och gamla. Stort parkeringsgarage finns precis bredvid, och det är också lätt att ta sig hit med gratisfärja från norra delen av centrala Amsterdam.
