Awesome experience

We did 3 madam tussauds in 5 days and Amsterdam was way better than London but only marginally better than Blackpool but still No.1. It was my 2nd time visiting (2001) to see it had modernised was amazing. Well done all.

Changed a bit since last visit but still good

Always a pleasure, especially in cold rainy days to spend a few hours in this attraction. It's cool for both adults and children and have nice vibes, staff are nice and helpful and the atmosphere is great. We also tried for the first time the Dungeon live acting experience and it was also cool.

Great art that is a great place to go in Amsterdam.

It was great and I saw many of famous wax people, an absolutely great place to go if you’ve got free time and some spare cash to use in Amsterdam.

Famous Faces, Mixed Impressions

I recently visited Madame Tussauds in Amsterdam with my daughter and her friend. Her friend absolutely loved it — she rated the experience 5 out of 5. For us, it was just good, but not amazing. There are definitely some wax figures that look very much like the originals — quite impressive. But there are also a few that don’t really capture the likeness as well. The museum overall is well-organized and clean, but it felt like it was missing a bit of entertainment or interactive elements to make the experience more engaging. In short, it’s a nice place to visit, especially if you’re into celebrity figures and photo ops, but I wouldn’t call it excellent. Still worth checking out if you’ve never been.

I liked so much. I was surprised that all figures are so realistic. And it was good expiriance :) I will visit some other for sure in the future 😄

My husband and I had an amazing time even though we are over 50 years old. The collection is fantastic as always. I have been to Amsterdam 3 times and every time I come I just have to visit Madame Tussauds and every time it is an exceptional experience. Thank you!

Was very nice . A lot of celebrities there. Nice staff,and very polite. I would recommend to everyone It is very busy during the weekend.

Cool Experience

We weren’t planning on coming here however me and my partner had never been to one before and I’m glad we came. We had such a laugh and the wax works are marvellous. We thought so many of them were real people when we walked into the rooms. The tickets are quite expensive however we took our time to go round as there isn’t a time limit. We got our money worth. There are so many interactive games and activities you can do as you go round that make the experience too. As well as a photo shoot before you go in. I wouldn’t return again as I’ve already done it but I had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is going to Amsterdam.

Very entertaining, and worth the experience. Gives vacationers something to see and to do. Go early when there is limited crowds.

Worth the visit

Well worth the visit & a fun wander around taking lots of photos You get to scan your QR code on the way round and a chance to purchase them at the end of your visit

Amazing museum. Very very funny. You can take amazing pictures and you can have lot's of fun. There are lots of interactive scenarios. Don't miss it.

Quick to get around but worth seeing.

Decent Madame Tussaud’s. Doesn’t take long to get around but fun and well laid out. The big window is definitely worth seeing as it gives an amazing view of the town below. Loved seeing all the waxworks of local Dutch celebrities, that’s always one of my favourite things about visiting Madame Tussaud’s around the world. Definitely recommend a visit.

Marvelous dreamy experience to visit another version of the Madam Tussauds museum in the heart of Amsterdam. Located just around the corner of the beautiful Dam Square in walking distance to the Amsterdam Central train station. Friendly staff with welcoming smiles. 😊

Recommended!

We were welcomed like a King and Queen and got a VIP treatment, because my husband had some difficulty walking. Very sympathic young people who were guiding us and we had lots of fun with them. The wax figures looked very realistic and their eyes were following you. We had a very nice time at Madame Tussauds in Amsterdam! Recommended!

Interesting

Very interesting. But very crowded. At our time one school had also visit time, They used to be very crowded and all of a sudden rush to one part and it made the visit very difficult. Maybe the museum could set special hours for such visits. Another negative point is, there isn’t any lock box to put clothes and things. In cold weather and for tourists who mostly have big bags, jackets and bags should be carried during the visit

Meeting your idols

Amazing experience. Nice to see Johan Cruyff and Bob Marley. Maybe I am a little to old to know all the music and film stars. But fun to meet them there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day here, plenty of things to see and lots of interactive points too. All the staff were great and knowledgeable. We went as a couple but would highly recommend it for families

Overall fun and entertaining family outing!

We had a great time with our kids. Wish that all of the figures had labels (some were missing and we weren’t sure who everyone was. Also, the Van Gogh section for photos was broken and we were disappointed we didn’t get to take those images since we did buy the digital download package.

Best attraction in Amsterdam!

Family Visit

We had a great time here as a family with 3 teenagers, we all had great fun. It was definitely the highlight of my 13 year olds visit to Amsterdam. Would definitely recommend it

Having fun interacting with the wax figures at Madame Tussauds

We had never been to a Madame Tussauds before, but were pleasantly surprised. My Mum was reluctant to go in thinking there were probably better things to do in Amsterdam, but she was soon into it interacting with the wax models. Definitely fun and a great thing to do. Pretty life like figures and some fun ones to interact with.

I did not expect it to be as special and I had a great time! You get to see many celebrities and the most important singers of the moment. It was a great experience!

Smaller, but really nice.

This was a very good experience. Although is not as big as the one in London, we thought that the museum was very nicely put together with it's themed rooms and interactive activities. The new figures are fantastically done.

Great but overpriced

It was amazing to see so many stars 🤩 But alter all, It was a bit expensive! The quality/quantity rating is a bit overrated.. we were done in 1,5 hours..

Always A Good Time

It’s my mission to visit every Madame Tussaud’s on the planet and this was a very good one! Some figure are old and slightly out of date and some are brand new and excellently crafted. It’s always interesting to see which ‘areas’ each museum has and this one was excellent. Lots of immersive activities as well scattered around which you don’t always see. Very reasonably priced I thought at about €25 each. We went late afternoon on a weekday and it wasn’t busy at all. Would recommend.

Extraordinary, the best Wax Museum I've done so far. They put so many efforts in including stars in immersive ambient scenes with light and music. I've got the thrills !
